How much does tree removal cost?

Do you grind stumps below grade?

When is the best time to trim trees in Michigan?
It depends on the species. As a general rule, avoid pruning oak trees between April and July — sap beetles that spread oak wilt, a disease that can kill an oak within weeks, are most active in that window and are drawn to fresh cuts. Most other species have more flexibility, but late winter dormancy is usually the safest overall window.

Do you haul away the debris?
Yes. Full debris removal — logs, brush, and chips — is included with tree removal and trimming work. The site is left clean, not just cleared.
Do I need a permit to remove a tree in Michigan?

What's the difference between stump grinding and stump removal?
Stump grinding uses a wheel to grind the stump down below grade, leaving the roots in the ground — it's faster and far less disruptive to the surrounding lawn or landscaping. Full stump removal means digging out the stump and root system entirely, which is slower and usually only necessary if you're building or planting exactly where the stump sits.
